I’ll have to check out Crisix and Power Trip but I 100% agree with the rest of your list. I’ll add Vindicator, Skeletonwitch, and Bonded by Blood. Just didn’t want to drop all the bands when I’m planning on some stuff involving several on this list such as Lich King, Havok and Evile.

I didn’t want to name-drop a ton of bands even though I do plan to do a few articles about acts like Havok, Warbringer, Violator, Vindicator, Fueled by Fire and so on. Those first three Havok albums are exactly the kind of speedy as hell metal I love, though!

I think they should’ve done some slower-paced stuff just so the albums don’t sound similar from album to album. Just a couple of slower tunes but I know that their thing is fast, fun, exciting metal.

Hell, even Joel explored some slower stuff in Toxic Holocaust.
